FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
Founded in the 16th century, Beretta is the oldest active manufacturer of firearm components in the world.
It is a privately held Italian company operating in several countries.
Its firearms are used worldwide for a variety of civilian, law enforcement, and military purposes, with sporting arms account for three-quarters of sales.
The Beretta S56E is a double-barrel, over-and-under, auto-ejection, break-action shotgun.
It is an older, discontinued model that was available during the 1960s and 1970s.
It has a hand, silver scroll engraved receiver and finely checkered European timber stock.
This shotgun comes in a padded case including a set of two, 12 gauge Musgrave double-barrels.
One set is 26″ with both barrels choked specifically for skeet shooting, and the other set is 28″ with one Modified choke and one Full choke barrel.
This gun is in excellent used condition. It is mechanically good and functional.
The finish on both sets of barrels is still excellent, except for some slight wear on the sections under the forend (which isn’t visible when the forend is installed).
The finish on the receiver is also still excellent except fore some very slight wear on the trigger guard.
The wooden stock has a few tiny dents in it, but is otherwise still excellent.
Comes in a padded, wooden case.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- SKEET SHOOTING
- CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
It is also suitable for wing-shooting and bird hunting.
