FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Bernardelli Model 60 is a semi-automatic, 10-shot pistol chambered in .22 LR, manufactured in Italy and introduced in 1959.
Designed for informal target shooting and self-defense, it is a fixed-barrel, direct blowback pistol with very similar characteristics to the Walther PP and PPK.
It was produced and offered in .22 LR, .32 ACP and .380 ACP calibers.
It has a steel slide and alloy frame, plastic grip panels and a manual safety lever on the frame just behind the trigger.
The original Model 60 had a flush barrel and fixed sights, however the small size of the pistol prevented it from being allowed to be imported into the USA due to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
The AMR was a target version of the Model 60 designed specifically for import into the United States, and had an extended barrel, moulded in thumb rest and and adjustable target sights, in order to give the pistol more sporting features to overcome the import restrictions.
This gun is in very good used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is only some extremely slight wear on the frame.
The gun is just a little dirty from storage and needs a good clean.
Plastics grips are still in very good condition.
