FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:

The CZ 83 is a compact, double-action/single-action, direct-blowback pistol chambered for 9mmK (.380 ACP), and manufactured by Česká zbrojovka (CZ) in Czechoslovakia, from 1983 till 2012.
The CZ 83 was the civilian or commercial model of the vz. 82, which was the standard service sidearm of the Czechoslovakia Military from 1983 to 1993.

The CZ 83 has a fixed barrel and low bore axis giving it very good accuracy and less muzzle rise for quicker follow-up shots.
The barrel is also chrome lined for greater longevity, and has polygonal rifling for easier cleaning and maintenance.

For added convenience the frame-mounted manual safety lever as well as the magazine release buttons are ambidextrous.
It is somewhat heavy by modern standards, but the all-steel construction makes it almost indestructible, and additional weigh helps to control pistol in rapid fire.

FIREARM CONDITION:

This gun is in very good used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is only very slight wear near the muzzle, and very few light scratches on the slide.
The plastic grips are also only very slightly scratched on one side.
