FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Bersa 83 is a double-action pistol chambered for 9mmK (.380 ACP), and manufactured by Bersa in Argentina between 1988 and 1994.
Essentially a copy of the well know Walther PP series, it was a very popular pistol for the time as it was compact, accurate, reliable, inexpensive, and an excellent choice for self-defense and concealed carry.
The Bersa Model 85 basically a hi-capacity variant of their single-stack Model 83.
Bersa widened the grip and magazine well to accommodate the 12 round, double-stack magazine.
Widening the grip makes the Model 85 about a half inch (12.7mm) thicker than the Model 83, and about 170 grams heavier.
This particular Model 85 is finished in Satin-nickel and includes Walnut grip panels.
This gun is in like new used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
The satin-nickel finish is still in perfect condition.
Only the original wooden grips have a few very light dings in them, but are otherwise still very-good to excellent.
It comes in its original box and includes the original owners manual.
Includes 2 x 12 round magazines.
