FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Luger M80 is an all steel, single-action, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mmP.
It is a clone of the famous FN Browning Hi-Power pistol, manufactured by FEG of Hungary and branded “Luger M80” by Mauser.
It is an almost exact copy of the original handgun, and all parts are interchangeable with the original FN and Browning models.
The Hi-Power was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive of FN in Belgium.
The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries.
After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was discontinued in 2017 by Browning Arms, but it remained in production in some countries, under license.
This gun is in good to very good, used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is some extremely light wear to the front edges of the slide, as well as the dust cover and trigger guard, otherwise the overall finish is very good.
There is also some very light surface rust on the front and back strap of the grip, which can be easily cleaned off.
The wooden grips are still in very good condition, with no visible, significant scratches or marks.
The action is extremely tight.
