FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The FEG PA-63 is a direct blowback, double-action/single-action, semi-automatic pistol chambered first in 9x18mm Makarov, and later in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) and 9mmK (.380 ACP), manufactured by the Hungarian company Fegyver- és Gépgyár (FEG) from 1963 to 1990.
Its design is based on the Walther PP and is made with an aluminum / titanium alloy frame that is very resistant to wear, and blued steel slide.
In the 1960s the 9x18mm Makarov version became the standard issue pistol to both Hungarian military and police forces.
The military standard PA-63 version sports a two-tone polished aluminum frame with black slide, grips, trigger and hammer assembly. While unusual for military issue in that a reflective polish was used, it was chosen due to its relative cheapness as well as quicker build time.
As with many FEG pistols in the past, the 9mmK PA-63 was imported into South Africa and rebranded as the Luger M 380.
This gun is in good condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is some very light surface rust/marks on the left side of the slide, most likely due to storage, which can possibly be easily removed.
There are also some very light scratches to the front, right side of the slide finish.
Other than this, the pistol seems in very good, hardly used condition.
It comes in the original cardboard box with original owners manual and cleaning tool.
This firearm is suitable for home self defense and is perfect for every-day, concealed or pocket carry.
It is also suitable as a backup gun.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- IDPA – BUG division
- STEEL CHALLENGE
