FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Glock is a series of polymer-framed, short recoil-operated, locked-breech semi-automatic pistols designed and produced by Austrian manufacturer Glock Ges.m.b.H.
It entered Austrian military and police service by 1982 after it was the top performer in reliability and safety tests.
The Glock 22 is a .40 S&W, standard sized variant introduced in 1990, primarily for law enforcement, and is currently favored and used by multiple law enforcement agencies around the world.
It has the same dimensions as the standard sized Glock 17 but uses a modified slide, frame, and barrel to account for the differences in size and power of the .40 S&W cartridge.
It features a double-stack magazine with a standard capacity of 15 rounds.
A factory magazine with a +2 extension gives a capacity of 17 rounds.
Second Generation Glocks include checkering on the front strap and trigger guard and checkering and serrations to the back strap, but don’t include thumb rests on both sides of the frame and finger grooves on the front strap.
They also do not include an accessory rail.
This particular Glock 20 has a Cerakoted slide, with the logo and other markings in white.
This pistol also includes fitted Tritium night sights, and extended magazine and slide release levers.
It also has a custom design slide back-plate.
This gun is in good used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is only some extremely light holster wear to the front of the slide.
The frame is in good, original condition.
Includes fitted Tritium night sights, and extended magazine and slide release levers.
It comes in its original plastic box and includes original manual and cleaning tools.
Includes 2 x 15 round magazines.
This firearm is suitable for home self-defense, but is slightly large for every day carry (since it is a duty-sized pistol), unless for a large-framed person.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- IDPA – ESP division
- IPSC – Standard Gun
- PIN SHOOTING – Stock gun and Pin gun
- STEEL CHALLENGE
