FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Glock is a series of polymer-framed, short recoil-operated, locked-breech semi-automatic pistols designed and produced by Austrian manufacturer Glock Ges.m.b.H.
It entered Austrian military and police service by 1982 after it was the top performer in reliability and safety tests.
The Glock 41 is a .45 ACP competition variant designed for sport shooting, particularly the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), National Rifle Association (NRA) competitions, and the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA).
It features an incredibly light polymer frame (approximately the same size as that of the standard sized Glock 17), with an extra-long slide to increase the line of sight to increase accuracy at further distances (5.3″ barrel).
It uses double-stack magazines with a standard capacity of 13 rounds, and a factory magazine with a +2 extension giving a capacity of 15 rounds.
The MOS (Modular Optic System) version has a removable plate on the top of the slide at the rear, which when removed provides a base for mounting a red-dot or reflex sight.
Forth Generation Glocks include improved, rough-texture grip checkering, interchangeable back-straps of different sizes, and a new, dual recoil spring to help reduce perceived recoil and increase service life expectancy.
This gun is in like new, used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
The overall finish of the slide and condition of the frame is still perfect.
It comes in its original Glock plastic case and includes all accessories and manuals, including complete MOS Adapter Set.
It is fitted with a HiViz green fiber optic front sight.
Includes 3 x 13 round magazines.
This firearm is suitable for home self-defense but is possibly a little too large for every-day, concealed carry, unless for a large-framed person.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- IDPA – ESP, SSP and CO (Carry Optics) divisions
- SADPA MPDS – Service Pistol (SP15), Service Pistol Limited (SP10), Defensive Pistol (DP), Optics and Lasers (OL)
- IPSC – Stock Gun – Major, Open Class – Major
