FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
Llama Firearms, officially known as Llama-Gabilondo y Cia SA, was a Spanish arms company founded in 1904 that manufactured moderately priced revolvers and semi-auto pistols.
They were popular mainly in the European and Latin American export market, as well as domestically in Spain.
Llama manufactured clones of the Colt M1911 and later the 1911-A1 for many years in different sizes and chambered in many different calibers.
These pistols also included modifications to the original Colt design that developed and changed over the years.
In 1990 they released the Llama MAX-II LF (large frame) which was their closest equivalent to a Colt Government model.
Shortly after this they released the Llama MAX-II CF (compact frame) which was equivalent in size to the smaller Colt Commander.
These were available in in various calibers, as well as single-stack and double-stack magazine configurations.
This particular example is a Llama MAX-II CF chambered in 9mmP with a 15 round, double-stack magazine.
This gun is in like new used condition (possibly unused). It is mechanically good and functional.
There are very few, light spots of light surface rust from storage (easily removed) but otherwise looks unused.
It comes in its original plastic box and includes the original manual.
Includes 2 x 15 round magazines.
Extra magazines for this firearm available from Special Armory
This firearm is suitable for home self-defense, and even though it is a compact sized frame it is possibly a little too large (fat grip) for every-day, concealed carry, unless for a large-framed person, but this is debatable.

- IDPA – ESP division
- SADPA MPDS – Service Pistol (SP15) division
- IPSC – Stock Gun
