FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
Llama Firearms, officially known as Llama-Gabilondo y Cia SA, was a Spanish arms company founded in 1904 that manufactured moderately priced revolvers and semi-auto pistols.
They were popular mainly in the European and Latin American export market, as well as domestically in Spain.
Llama manufactured clones of the Colt M1911 and later the 1911-A1 for many years in different sizes and chambered in many different calibers.
These pistols also included modifications to the original Colt design that developed and changed over the years.
The Llama Mini-Max 45 is a compact, steel-framed, 1911 style, semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, introduced in 1995 and produced until 2005.
Designed for concealed carry, it features a 3.7″ barrel, extended safety lever, rounded combat hammer, low-profile manual safety lever (left side only), 3-dot sight, checkered neoprene grips and contoured trigger-guard.
The use of a flared muzzle eliminates the traditional Llama barrel bushing and makes disassembly easier.
The Mini-Max 45 will also accept standard 7 and 8 round .45 ACP 1911 magazines.
This gun is in fair used condition. It is mechanically good and functional.
There is a fair amount of holster wear all over the finish, mainly on the front of the slide and frame, edges of the slide and front of the grip.
The original neoprene grip panels are very worn.
Aside from the wear to the finish and grips, the gun still feels tight.
