FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Taurus Model 66 is a 6 or 7 round (though most older models that you find will be 6 round), medium framed, double action/single action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum.
It was first introduced in 1978 and is still manufactured today.
It is one of Taurus’s most popular and successful revolver models and is longtime favorite of security personnel.
They are known to be extremely reliable and durable with good accuracy and ergonomics, and are a good value-for-money option for people looking for a medium-sized .357 Magnum revolver at an economical price.
This particular example is a 6 round, 4″ barrel variant in blued finish, and comes with original Taurus wooden grips.
FIREARM CONDITION:
This gun is in good, used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
The overall finish is still very good with only some extremely light wear around the muzzle and an extremely light drag line around the cylinder.
There are a few, small spots of light surface rust all over in places on the frame, which can be easily removed.
The cylinder lockup is still tight.
The original wooden grips are very good to excellent with no discernible scratches or marks.
FIREARM SUITABILITY:
This firearm is suitable for home self defense, but is too large for every day carry, unless for a large-framed person.

- MPDS – Revolver (REV) division
- ICORE – Classic division
- PIN SHOOTING – Stock gun & Stock revolver
- STEEL CHALLENGE
