FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:

The Taurus PT 111 G2 is a striker-fired, polymer frame, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mmP, manufactured in Brazil and launched in 2013.
It is the second generation of the Millennium series of Taurus pistols (replacing the Pro series), designed as concealed carry firearms for self-defense as well as a back-up firearms for law enforcement officers.

The PT 111 G2 was released during a renovation period for Taurus Firearms when the company came under new management and sought to improve the quality of their products.
Consequently the G2 has a reputation for being much better made and more reliable than the Pro pistols.
The PT 111 G2 also came with numerous improvements over the Pro series, namely:

• Redesigned appearance
• Much improved reliability
• Improved ergonomics
• Aggressive stippled texturing on the grip
• Glock-style pull-down tabs to disassemble the weapon
• Adjustable 3-dot white sights
• Rated for +P loads

Also, while the pistol has a lighter, pre-cocked, striker fired trigger similar to that of a Glock, it also double-action firing capability.
Other features of the Taurus PT 111 G2 include a frame-mounted, manual safety lever, trigger safety, loaded chamber indicator, and accessory rail.

This gun is in new, unused condition.
It comes in its original box and includes original operators manual and documentation, and all accessories.
