FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
Founded in the 16th century, Beretta is the oldest active manufacturer of firearm components in the world.
It is a privately held Italian company operating in several countries.
Its firearms are used worldwide for a variety of civilian, law enforcement, and military purposes, with sporting arms account for three-quarters of sales.
The Beretta A300 is a gas operated, semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun produced from 1966 until the mid 1970s (although an updated version, the A300 Outlander, is currently available).
The barrel is machined from Chromium Molybdenum alloy steel while the receiver is made form light aluminum alloy.
It has a 3 round capacity magazine tube, and this particular firearm has a fiber optic front sight.
This gun is in very good used condition. It is mechanically good and functional.
There is uniform wear to the finish of the entire barrel but it is still in good condition.
The receiver is still in very good condition with only very few light scratches.
The wooden stock and forend only have some very light dents, while the recoil pad is broken and needs replacement.
Includes sling swivels.
This firearm is suitable for home self-defense.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- SADPA DMG – however a longer magazine tube would be preferable.
- IPSC Manual Shotgun – however a longer magazine tube would be required.
- 3GN – however a longer magazine tube would be required.
- PIN SHOOTING – Shotgun event – however a longer magazine tube would be preferable.
- CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING*
