FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Vz. 50, also known as the CZ 50 or Model 50, is a Czech made all-steel, double-action/single-action, 8-shot, direct blowback semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) that takes many design elements from the Walther PP and PPK.
It was designed in and produced from 1940 at the request of Czechoslovakia’s Ministry of the Interior, and most were distributed to police agencies under their control, while some were sold commercially.
In 1970, an update of the Vz. 50 was released with minor cosmetic changes and internal improvements, which became known as the Vz. 70.
This gun is in fair to good (more on the good side), used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is some very light wear along the front edges of the slide and a few tiny spots of light wear along the sides of the slide, but nothing very significant.
There is also some extremely light wear along the edges of the back of the frame around the grip tang, as well as the trigger guard and front of the grip.
There are some light scratches to the barrel under ejection port.
The plastic grips are still very good with only very few, extremely light, small scratches in places, which are almost unnoticeable.
The action is smooth and still tight.
