FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Luger M80 is an all steel, single-action, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mmP.
It is a clone of the famous FN Browning Hi-Power pistol, manufactured by FEG of Hungary and branded “Luger M80” by Mauser.
It is an almost exact copy of the original handgun, and all parts are interchangeable with the original FN and Browning models.
The Hi-Power was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive of FN in Belgium.
The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries.
After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was discontinued in 2017 by Browning Arms, but it remained in production in some countries, under license.
This gun is in very good, used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
The overall finish is very good with only some extremely fine, light wear on the front edges of the slide and trigger guard.
There are also some very light, small spots of surface rust on the front and back of the grip, which can be easily cleaned.
There is some slight tarnish on barrel, but nothing significant.
The wooden grips are still very good with only very few, very light, small dings in places. The action is very tight.
