FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
The Norinco M-93 Sportsman is a Chinese manufactured clone of the popular Colt Woodsman first model, .22 LR semi-automatic pistol, which went out of production in 1977.
It’s an all-steel construction pistol with plastic grips, and windage adjustable rear sights.
Norinco is one of the world’s largest defense companies and contractors and is known for making economical copies or clones of many well known firearms.
From available reviews the M-93 Sportsman seems to be a reliable pistol, perhaps not as refined as the Colt Woodsman, but still a fun shooter.
Norinco manufactured guns are also known to be strongly built and durable firearms.
Where this pistol scores is in it’s very economical price for a new firearm, that will most likely provide you with many years of fun at the range
This gun is in good to very good, used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
There is no visible wear to the original finish, with only very few, very light scratches on some areas (like on the left side of the frame, just behind the barrel).
There is also a tiny dent on the corner of the right side of the slide, which is actually barely even noticeable.
The original plastic grips are still perfect.
Extra magazines for this firearm available from Special Armory
The M-93 Sportsman would be a great, fun gun for simple target shooting and plinking at the range, and also a good tool for teaching handgun shooting and fundamentals of basic marksmanship to young or beginner shooters.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- STEEL CHALLENGE
- PIN SHOOTING – .22 Rimfire Handgun matches only
