FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
Amadeo Rossi SA (or simply Rossi), founded in 1889 in São Leopoldo, is a Brazilian arms manufacturer. Rossi produces pistols and revolvers used by both civilians and security forces, and exports worldwide.
It is considered one of the largest weapons manufacturers in Brazil.
Today the Rossi revolver line is owned and managed by the company Taurus.
The Rossi Model 941 is a medium frame, 6 round, double action/single action revolver chambered in .38 Special, based on the S&W K-frame, produced from 1984 to 1990.
It has a blued finish, 4″ barrel with full underlug, wooden grips and fixed sights.
This gun is in very good to excellent used condition. It is mechanically sound and functional.
The overall finish is excellent except for a few, small spots of surface rust here and there (easily removed).
The original wooden grips have a few light scratches but are otherwise also excellent.
It comes in its original cardboard box (quite tattered).
This firearm is suitable for home self defense, but is perhaps a little large (heavy) for every day carry, unless for a large-framed person.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- IDPA – Revolver division
- ICORE – Classic division
- PIN SHOOTING – Stock gun & Stock revolver
- STEEL CHALLENGE
