FIREARM HISTORY AND FEATURES:
Zabala Hermanos S.A. is a family enterprise based in Eibar, in northern Spain’s Basque country to the east of the city of Bilbao.
The company started making shotguns in 1932, and have since then purportedly produced nearly a million guns.
They are most well known for their side-by-side shotguns but do also produce some over-and-under models, with their quality ranging from medium grade to very high end models.
This particular model is as 12 gauge, side-by-side, double barrel shotgun, with a double-trigger and auto-safety, and case extractor mechanism, but not ejector.
The barrel lengths are 27, 3/4″, with one cylinder bore barrel and the other choked (unknown choke size).
It has an engraved, colour case hardened receiver and polished wooden stock, with checkering on the pistol grip and forend.
This gun is in excellent used condition. It is mechanically good and functional.
The finish on the barrel is almost perfect, with only some tiny, light scratches near the one barrel’s muzzle.
The engraved, colour case hardened receiver and trigger guard is still perfect.
The wooden forend and stock are excellent, almost perfect, with only the odd, very small and light ding in places (really insignificant), and the recoil pad is still perfect.
The break-action is still very tight.
It has a case extractor, but no ejector.
This firearm is suitable for use in the following sports:
- CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
It is also suitable for wing-shooting and bird hunting.
