It is the leading producer of firearms in Serbia and is a large contributor to the local defense industry.
Zastava Arms produces and exports a wide variety of products to over forty countries.
The Zastava M70 sporting rifle features an original Mauser locking system (available chambered in many different center-fire rifle calibers), a chrome-vanadium steel barrel, and an oiled and polished walnut stock available in a variety of styles.
It includes iron sights (fixed front post and adjustable, flip-up rear) and the receiver is also threaded with protective screws to attach scope mounts.
This particular rifle is set in a black, synthetic stock.
The .243 Winchester (6×52mm) is a popular sporting rifle cartridge, initially designed as a target/varmint round, it can also be used for small game.
The .243 is based on a necked down .308 cartridge case.
It is very popular with target shooters, metallic silhouette, and long range shooters, because of its accuracy and low recoil.
This gun is in excellent to like new, used condition. It is mechanically good and functional.
The finish on the barrel and receiver is still perfect.
The only marks on this rifle at all is some very light, surface rust on the bottom of the mag plate, which can easily be removed.
There is also some extremely light wear on the bolt.
The black, synthetic stock is almost perfect, with only very few, extremely light marks in places.
The barrel is 24″ in length.
This firearm is suitable for small to medium game hunting as well as varmint hunting.
It is also suitable as for precision rifle sport shooting.
